The quality certificate is issued following the EXAMINATION OF THE SEED (or spermiogram) which provides for the evaluation of the physical-chemical and biological parameters of the ejaculate.
After the collection of the seminal fluid, the sample is subjected to specific laboratory analyzes including appearance and volume of the three fractions of the ejaculate, concentration, motility, vitality and morphology of the spermatozoa.
For a more specific evaluation of the characteristics of the gametes, it is possible to carry out the FUNCTIONAL SEED EXAMINATION . It allows to obtain more detailed information about the integrity of the membranes and DNA of spermatozoa, as well as their ability to adhere to the female gamete.

HOW TO PROCEED
The donor dog will be examined to assess its state of health and the ejaculate collected from the donor (necessarily identified with Microchip) will be analyzed in the laboratory to assess its quality and draw up the certificate.
